JOB DESCRIPTION
A lovely opportunity for an organised, proactive and caring nanny to join a warm family relocating from Berkshire, UK to Dublin in summer 2026. The role will involve caring for three school-aged children.
The family are seeking someone experienced, flexible and dependable who can become an important part of the family’s day-to-day life and provide consistent, long-term support.
The ideal candidate will enjoy engaging with active children and supporting busy family routines. A swimmer would be highly desirable, as the boys enjoy swimming and water-based activities.
The role will primarily focus on childcare and family assistance duties, alongside helping to keep the children’s routines organised and running smoothly. The family would appreciate someone happy to support with:
- Preparing family and children’s meals
- Organising children’s activities and playdates
- Managing parcels and dry cleaning
- Assisting with shopping and household organisation
- Hanging out laundry
- Organising children’s clothes and belongings
- Helping with gifts and family errands
- Supporting general household routines
The family value flexibility, warmth, reliability and initiative and are looking for someone who is confident managing busy schedules while maintaining a calm and nurturing environment for the children.
There may occasionally be travel to the family’s UK home. Overnight support and some extra hours may also become part of the role in the future once a strong relationship has been established.
This role would particularly suit someone organised, energetic, adaptable and genuinely interested in building a long-term relationship with a welcoming family during an exciting relocation to Ireland.
