JOB DESCRIPTION
A warm and welcoming family based in Raheny, Dublin 5 are looking for a kind, caring and reliable nanny to join their family and care for their two lovely boys, aged 4½ years and 16 months. Both parents work full-time, and the position is Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00am–4:00pm, Wednesday from 8:00am–4:30pm, and Friday from 9:00am–3:00pm (35.5 hours per week).
The family are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and who can provide a safe, happy, nurturing and stimulating environment for both boys.
The Children
- Older boy: 4½ years, loves his bike, scooter, lego and reading
- Younger boy: 16 months loves playing going to the park and books
- Both boys are happy, active and enjoy play, outdoor activities and age-appropriate activities.
Main Responsibilities
- Providing attentive and loving care for both children
- Organising age-appropriate activities, games, arts & crafts, reading and play
- Taking the children outdoors for walks, playgrounds and activities
- Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
- Supporting the younger child’s nap and daily routine
- Helping the older child with his daily routine and activities
- Encouraging learning, independence and good manners
- Keeping the children’s areas tidy and organised
- Children’s laundry and light housekeeping related to the children
- Ensuring the children are always safe, happy and well cared for

Fluent English is essential. A driver is not essential, the family are within walking distance to all local amenities parks and school.
The ideal Candidate must be organised, independent, reliable, discreet, calm, patient, fun and energetic. The Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience, excellent references, up-to-date First Aid and Garda Vetting.
