Family are seeking an experienced, professional, and highly organised Housekeeper to join a well-established household team. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week on a 7- day rota, alongside other housekeepers and staff. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with a flexible approach and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the residence to the highest possible standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation
  • Execute both daily and deep cleaning schedules with meticulous attention to detail
  • Provide expert care of fine furnishings, antiques, delicate surfaces
  • Manage all aspects of laundry and wardrobe care, including garment maintenance, ironing, and storage,
  • Responsible for efficiently packing and unpacking clothing and personal items for travel, ensuring all items are organized, appropriate for the destination, and well cared for.
  • Oversee bed preparation and linen management to a luxury standard
  • Ensure all household areas are consistently guest-ready
  • Monitor and manage household supplies, reporting requirements proactively
  • Support formal and informal service as required Work seamlessly alongside other household staff to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the residence
  • Occasionally may be required to run small errands example supermarket, dry cleaning and post office.

Working Schedule

  • 40 hours per week
  • 7 – day rota system (flexibility required, including weekends and holidays)

Travel Requirements

  • Regular travel throughout the year within Europe and the USA
  • Flexibility to travel and stay with the family as needed

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar private household role
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Full clean driver’s licence
  • Own car required
  • Valid European passport (essential for travel)
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and professional at all times
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work
